Luke (Lusty) James at the Elite Program at the Nov 2009 Bright Boot Camp hammering out his ITT up Mt Buffalo on day one while being followed by Cycling-Inform Senior Coach Brendan Rowbotham. His hard training is paying off with a 1st in the Stratford to Dargo KOM Event.

Luke (Lusty) James (St Kilda Cycling Club) who I have been coaching for several months placed first in C grade followed by second place getter Wesley (Wes) Cordingley (St Kilda Cycling Club) who has just attended our November Bright Boot Camp. Quoting Wes... "Luke was riding very strong all day spending a fair bit of time driving the pace at the front. The last climb was horrendous, it was more about survival to the top as everyone had pretty much run out of water before the last climb and it was significantly steeper than what we had all expected. The Nov Bright Boot Camp has definitely help sharpen me up in the hills."

Luke also beat all the B graders in the KOM race. I've been working with Luke in his preparations for the Tour of Bright so it’s a great result this close to the tour. Luke has jumped up the grades as a result of his strong commitment to his training.

Andrew (Andy) Van Slobbe (Hawthorn Citizens Youth Club) placed first in the Masters 1,2 & 3 Division. Andy attends our Bright Boot camp every November as a support rider and uses it as a key part of his Tour of Bright preparations. Andy is also one of our Senior Cycling-Inform Coaches.
